When loading an existing song or new song template, some track names always appear scrambled up. Interestingly, all erratic track names get corrected once I manually rename ONE of them, as if changing the name of one track forced all track names to be "re-read" by the device.
This error reoccurs after several bank changes.
Solved with beta v1.1

Re: V1-M/V1-X: Track name display erratic
Hi Nick,
This seems to be a problem on Macs because (according it iCON) they send USB data in much larger packets than Windows PCs. I don't have a Mac so I wasn't aware of the difference. I've been working with iCON to fix similar problems they were having with the P1-M on Macs.
I've attached a beta version of the script which seemed to fix the issue on the P1-M. I'm waiting for confirmation. It would be useful if you would test it on the V1-M/X.
The P1-M needed some firmware changes, so there's a chance the V1-M does as well. If the text formatting on the secondary displays is messed up or missing then I can request the firmware updates directly with iCON.
Hopefully this will solve your issues with Text, Colours and Meters.
Let me know how it goes.
Kind Regards,
Paul

Re: V1-M/V1-X: Track name display erratic
Thank you Paul! I will be able to test it tomorrow (holiday). Let me know if I can help with further development (as a tester, I am useless as a programmer)
